My Gran’s Favourite Flower

Hello Again, told you I'd been busy this sunday - two cards to blog!

Hydrangeas were one of my Gran’s favourite flowers and a few weeks back I won this lovely little stamp on an Ebay auction for a very fair price.

My Stampin Up demonstrator Jane Norrish, showed me how to use my Stampin Write markers to colour stamps, allowing you to use more than one colour on a stamp and It has worked wonderfully here. I also spritzed the stamp with water before stamping to give it a bit of a water colour effect.

The background paper is from Kaiser and the cute little butterfly bling was found at my local $2 shop.

I stamped the image on a peice of water colour paper and simply tore it from the book and trimmed it to size, leaving the spine of the page in place. I love the look of it.

I’m going to put this card into the Stampalot Challenge this month, which has the theme “Anything Goes” , along with the Bling It On challenge blog which is the same theme. Very handy I say! Ruby’s Rainbow Challenge theme is Flowers , so we are showing off there too this week!
