I’ve made this lovely butterflies card using the Movers & Shapers Die from Stampin’ Up.
This is the first thing I’ve made with it and apart from having a fight with the glitter coz it wouldn't do what it was told, I quite like the result.
I cut the paper (cheapie paper pack from Sam's Warehouse) and the card stock at the same time so that the window was in position correctly when I stuck the paper down. I then embossed the front of the card with a butterflies embossing folder. A butterfly on the front to finish.
I also cut out the border from the paper to reveal the white cardstock around the aperture and stuck it to the inside section to frame the coordinating ‘my friend’ stamp from the ‘Perfect Punches’ set on the inside.
I was trying to make a trail of glitter behind the butterfly as it flew across the page, but the glitter was chucking a tantrum and it made a bit of a mess – oh well – they say you can’t have too much bling! lol.
Hope you like it, I’m going to enter it in a challenge at C.R.A.F.T as the girls there have chosen Butterflies as the theme for challenge # 111.
