Hi Everyone,
I’ve made this lovely card for my old boss who’s invited me to a BBQ at his home to celebrate this year.
People are always saying that masculine cards are hard to do, but I beg to differ.
I guess I’m just not a “girly girl” and find these colours and themes pleasing. I am a bit of a rev head having grown up with my mechanic father and my drag racing brother and now married to a motor dealer, I guess cars are in the blood for me!
I decorated the inside too this time – my label wasn’t quite big enough so I used two. I put a Kaiser rub on sentiment inside.
I’ve also stamped the back of the card with this Handmade by Vicki personalised stamp that I ordered on Ebay, cute isn’t it!
The card was a Kaiser gloss black base ( a little slippery to stamp directly onto as you can see). I made the sentiment from Kaiser little alphas and papers. The other papers are bits and pieces I had floating around from a bigger sheet that I’d used previously (the name is gone sorry). A chipboard ‘blingy’ thing was also found in my stash that fitted the spot perfectly.
Hope you like it… I’m sure there is a challenge around somewhere this qualifies for…let me see…
The Crazy Challenge blog has a Men Only theme – perfect!
and My Partner in Crafting Crime blog has a Planes, Trains & Automobiles theme – I loved that movie!
Well that’s it from me today – Have a good one and I’ll be back again soon. Ciao for now xx
