Mojo Joy

Hello Everyone,

I’ve been happy to make a couple of Christmas cards this week in my spare time at night. This is one of them

– using the Mojo Monday #209 sketch for the week. 

- It’s competition week too – yahoo!

I’ve used a Kaiser 6” paper pack to make the background and then some felt star tape down the right side. The spellbinders came in handy to get everything the right size. I’ve used both circles, circle scallops and rectangles here.

My central panel is embossed and I’ve incorporated a Christmas bauble into the design. I spotted this technique a couple of times, most recently at Valitas Designs and Fresh Folds. Mine is a pale comparison, but it is the first one I’ve made so there is room for improvement.

          

The inside of this card was put together with leftover paper. I really like this blingy paper and didn’t want to waste it.
