Hi Everyone,
I’ve combined a couple of challenges today and made a birthday card for my
Dad, who is 70 this year! Oh and don’t mind the line of blingy glitter across the top, it’s a private joke with Dad. (I’m simply covered in glitter most of the time which he always laughs at, so I thought I’d send him home with some. lol)

Firstly,Sunny Challenges and Creations provided me with the sketch this week and challenged me to use a technique called Magical Masking. I was intrigued, but for the life of me do you think I could find any masking tape!
Never one to let an opportunity to try something new pass, I used packing tape instead! A bit of a different look, but very similar results I think.
Head on over to the Sunny Challenges & Creations blog for the instructions to try it out yourself – I missed the bit about glossy paper too, so I wasn’t having a great instruction following day! Lucky I had lots of inspiration from the Stampin’ Up box that landed on my doorstep with new stuff this morning – Yay! Papaya Collage and Memorable Moments stamps used here are available in the new Annual Catalogue come September 1st!
The colour scheme today is from the Dynamic Duos – River Rock and Basic Black. I should have used some brads here too, only I didn’t have any! aagh, must fix that oversight next order! It is perfect for my Dad’s birthday card anyway!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I hope I have given you some inspiration
